Empirical research on youth participation in local communities through the utilization of vacant house and lot on sloped district

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of an attempt to promote youth participation in local communities through the utilization of vacant houses and lots by university students. The results of the study revealed that although it is difficult for young people to participate in the management of community associations， it has the potential to lower the hurdle of interaction between the community and the youth. It was also clarified that there is a need for a hub function between the two， which can coordinate the relationship between them and promote continuous interaction. Finally，COVID-19 has a significant impact on community activities. Careful prescriptions，including infection control，are needed to promote exchanges
