Déterminants du choix de l’emploi informel dans le marché du travail marocain : cas de la région Marrakech-Safi

This contribution is part of an understanding of the choice of individuals for informal employment in the Moroccan labor market. The aim is to show the different determinants that influence this choice and to highlight the key features that characterize them. The household survey (410 households) on the Marrakech-Safi region of Morocco was used for this exploratory work, the data of which will allow econometric modeling using the Logistic Regression method. The demonstration to which our contribution is directed confirms that the change in age, the low level of qualification, the status of the head of the household, the low social level and conditions of work are the main determinants of the choice of informal employment. This allowed us to ask new questions about informal employment in terms of recommendations. Il s’agit de montrer les différents déterminants qui influencent ce choix et d’en faire ressortir les modalités phares qui les caractérisent. L’enquête auprès des ménages (410 ménages) sur la région Marrakech-Safi Maroc a été utilisée pour ce travail exploratoire dont les données vont permettre une modélisation économétrique grâce à la méthode de la Régression Logistique. La démonstration à laquelle s’attèle notre contribution confirme que l’évolution dans l’âge, le faible niveau de qualification, le statut du chef de ménage, le faible niveau social et les conditions de travail sont les principaux déterminants du choix d’un emploi informel dans le marché du travail marocain. Cela nous a permis de poser des nouvelles questions concernant l’emploi informel en termes de recommandations.
