Fátima, hija del alcaide Avengarrón: sus propiedades en Cubillas y Granada, según documentos árabes romanceados inéditos (1465-1466)

The purpose of this work is to present the edition and study of three romanced Arabic documents of a woman’s will, that of Fatima, daughter of the castellan Abilhageg Yusuf Avengarron. These documents deal, firstly, with the institution of a legacy for the poor (December 1465), followed by a property appraisal (February 10, 1466) and, finally, the will itself and the distribution among the heirs (February 24, 1466). These deeds were translated from Arabic in 1564 by the Morisco lawyer Alonso del Castillo. They refer to a set of properties acquired by the royal secretary Fernando de Zafra, his wife Leonor de Torres and other members of his family from various Muslims at the end of the fifteenth century and the beginning of the sixteenth century in the village of Cubillas (Granada). The analysis of the text allows us to elucidate aspects of the life of the elites in the Vega of Granada and, specifically, of a woman belonging to this group.En este trabajo se presenta la edición y estudio de tres documentos árabes romanceados sobre el testamento de una mujer, Fátima, hija del alcaide Abilhageg Yusuf Avengarrón. Se trata, en primer lugar, de la institución de un legado para pobres (diciembre de 1465), seguido de una tasación de bienes (10 de febrero de 1466) y, finalmente, del propio testamento y reparto entre los herederos (24 de febrero de 1466). Estas escrituras están traducidas del árabe en 1564 por el licenciado morisco Alonso del Castillo. Forman parte de un conjunto de las propiedades adquiridas por el secretario real Fernando de Zafra, su esposa Leonor de Torres y otros miembros de su familia a diversos musulmanes a finales del siglo XV y principios del siglo XVI en la alquería de Cubillas (Granada). El análisis del texto permite dilucidar aspectos de la vida de las élites granadinas en la Vega de Granada y, en particular, de una mujer perteneciente a este grupo
