The article presents the results of a research that aimed to analyze the pedagogical practices used in a Higher Course in Technology in Management Processes at a Campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) with a view to relations racial. A structured questionnaire was prepared and submitted to the 11 professors of the course using the Google Forms tool. The theme is of importance in the light of Law nº 10.639/2003, and its addenda, which makes the theme “Afro-Brazilian History and Culture” compulsory in the official curriculum of the education network.
