The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the perception of the Lembang Penggukan community on the meaning of the Ma'Badong custom at the Rambu Solo ceremony in Gandang Batu Sillanan District, Tana Toraja Regency. (2) To describe the implications of Ma'Badong for the community in Lembang Penggukan, Gandang Batu Sillanan District, Tana Toraja Regency. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were 8 informants consisting of 2 traditional leaders, 1 community leader, 1 youth leader, 3 community members and the head of the lembang.
