SPEECH DISORDER EXPERIENCED BY AN AFTER CLEFT LIPS SURGERY YOUTUBER

Puja Nabila Arifah, 2021 :Speech Disorder with Cleft Lips at Youtube Channel Supervisore I : Dr. Diana Rozelin.,M.Hum Supervaisor II : Chandri Febri Santi., M.Pd Speech have many reason to happen. one of them and very occasional is because of speech production error.it could be happen to cleft lip and palate condition. it may cause of trouble in life such as johanna. She was being cleft lip and palate person since was born. she had some therapy and strungle in life with this special condition .The researcher interested to now more about live with cleft lip and palate. The purpose of the research are to know the cause of language disorder wa experincing by Youtuber in Her Youtube Channel and to nowsound can be speech clearly after cleft lip surgery. in this study,researh design that will be used is descriptive method and phonology theory came fro stefanie janned in 1991 . Meanwhile, in data collection techniques, the researcher used documentation techniques. For analyzing the dat. I order to make this research more spesific. There are some tsteps as follow : identifiying ; Classinfying the data ;ANALYZING,Describing,Explaning and making the conclusion the result in this thesis is cleft lip and cleft palate are thought to be caused by a combination of genes other factor, such as things the mother comes in cntact with in her enviroment, or what the mother eats or drinks, or certain medication she uses during pregency. there some nasal sound while speaking with individual with cleft lip and palate in case of elida words channel , Nanijohanna channel, these toutruber had similar problem with clift lip and paalte but johanna channnel these youtuber had similar problem with clif lip and palate but nanijohana have better sound because she has speech therapy after reconstruction thrapy.
