Las ruinas indígenas del cerro Mauco de Aconcagua

The remains of indigenous structures at Cerro Mauco de Aconcagua, Central Chile, have been the subject of research since 1852. Recounting the history of these investigations, geographical and etnohistorical features of their environment, are reviewed; their relationship with the late archaeological sites surrounding it, of real traces found at their summit physical and documentary; of the DIVERSE interpretations and hypotheses which have been developed to explain the presence of indigenous remains, especially A Recent date by TLC OF late pottery found there (1540 ± 50 AD.) and the direct relation BETWEEN the hill and Identified Quillotanos chiefs of the historical period.Los restos de construcciones indígenas en el cerro Mauco de Aconcagua, Chile Central, han sido motivo de investigaciones desde 1852.
