This paper has been written primarily for those responsible for formulating agricultural research policy in Jamaica, and also for the agricultural researches themselves who should be interests in the problems of organizing and administering the research effort in which they themselves are involved.Este documento discutió los aspectos institucionales de la investigación agrícola en Jamaica e identifica las áreas prioritarias y las limitaciones para la investigación; también se discute la relación entre las Agencias Nacionales de Investigación.
