Handbook of Advances in Alkali-activated Concrete provides comprehensive information on the material and structural properties and realistic potential for application of alkali-activated concretes. Since these materials can recycle a high waste content, they are especially important because every year the world economy uses more than 100,000 million tons of natural resources. And of that gargantuan consumption, only 8.6% are recycled (circularity gap). The first edition of this book (Handbook of alkali-activated cements, mortars, and concrete) was published in 2014.
