The eye is an organ of interest for accessing various biological parameters. To measure these parameters in a minimally invasive way, instrumenting a contact lens is a promising solution despite the volume and autonomy constraints. However, gaze direction, is usually measured with video-oculography eye-trackers. This approach, based on image processing, still has limited accuracy. To improve this accuracy, a camera-less solution is proposed. The idea is to use a contact lens integrating photodiodes associated with a specific illuminating eyewear. The gaze direction is computed by means of a barycentre with photo-currents.
