This Doctoral Thesis falls within the scope of educational research (Chalmel, 2015; in collaboration with Many, 2016) distinguishing the foundations, specificities and educational didactic (Social Self) and pedagogical (Self) purposes. While the main historical and etymological aspects of accompaniment (Estienne, Nicot,) highlight the issues, moral value and the notion of the heart, our hermeneutico-phenomenological analyses derived from our survey and a theoretical corpus (Haberey -Knuessi, Grimaud, Houssaye, Lobrot, Marzano,) shed some light on the fate of the individual Social Self in various professional fields.
