Landscape structure, through the amount of semi-natural habitat and matrix heterogeneity, is one of the main drivers of biodiversity, particularly in agricultural landscapes. This diversity, especially plant diversity, conditions the functioning of the current and future ecosystems. The overall objective of this thesis was to determine the effect of landscape structure on the functional diversity of plant communities and associated ecological functions. Conducted within the Couesnon watershed (France), this study focused on two types of semi-natural habitats: permanent grasslands and hedgerows.
