From an embedded cognition perspective, we focus on the place the body can occupy in teaching and learning. We approach this question from the perspective of a cultural-historical theory of teaching and learning : the theory of objectification (OT), developed mainly by Luis Radford. The encounter with the concepts of multiplication and division operations (division) that we study in terms of objectification processes, implies their interpretation in terms of relationships between magnitudes. We approach the question of the implication of the body in this learning by means of an approach which aims to interpret the transformation of the meaning of embodied actions.
