The flight envelope of civil aircraft is bounded by several aerodynamic phenomena, of which the stall and the transonic buffet. Stall is defined as a loss of lift caused by flow separation, while the transonic buffet is an unsteady phenomenon resulting from the interaction between a shock wave and a separated boundary layer. In both cases, three-dimensional features named respectively stall cells and buffet cells are observed experimentally and nu-merically. In buffet condition they are linked to a higher frequency in 3D than in 2D. This thesis aims to improve the knowledge of these phenomena.
