School programs in France have been anchoring digital skills and information literacy since 2015 in the media and information literacy (MIL) system. This research offers an analysis of the normative framework of MIL and its perception by primary school teachers, grasped through their declared representations, uses, practices and positioning. To what extent does the conception and definition of information in media and information literacy change with the inclusion of digital competencies? How do teachers see their role in transmitting digital literacy to students?
