The present PhD thesis aims at studying sheet cavitation dynamics by carrying out numerical simulations. This phenomenon appears in many hydraulic applications and can lead to technical issues, such as material degradations, performance reduction or noise generation. Some significant outcomes, such as the complex topology of three-dimensional cavitation pockets and their associated dynamics, need to be carefully visited. Therefore, the dynamics of partial cavitation developing in a 3-D Venturi geometry and the interaction with sidewalls are numerically investigated.
