Médecine généraleIntroduction: Since the first of january 2021 the HPV vaccine has been given to boys from 11 years old. The purpose of the study is to analyze representations of HPV vaccination and expectations regarding the possibility of vaccinating boys. Method: This is a qualitative study, using semi-structured interviews of 14 patients. Results: Participants relate to HPV vaccination in relation to girls, despite HPV being seen as an STI. Participants look favorably on extending the vaccine program to boys: due to collective protection, undefined sexuality in adolescence, and better gender equality to the fight against HPV.
