International audienceThis paper presents a framework on corrective sub-dialogues and error handling in spoken dialogue systems. Starting with a short typology of errors in interactive voice systems, our purposes are to investigate the prevention of these errors in the dialogue, and the handling of corrective sub-dialogues when they occur. We will particularly focus on the implications of this work in the speech understanding system and the dialogue controller
