Carl V. Anderson oral history interview

This is an oral history interviewer with Holocaust concentration camp liberator Carl V. Anderson. Anderson was a sergeant in the 63rd Infantry Division when it liberated Landsberg on April 29, 1945. The division arrived in France in December 1944 and fought in the Battle of the Bulge before proceeding on the Central Europe Campaign. They encountered Landsberg while en route to Munich and gave the prisoners some of their rations, but stayed at the camp for only a few hours.
