In this paper, we examine the spatially homogeneous and anisotropic LRS Bianchi type-I (B-I) Universe with viscous fluid in the framework of $f(Q)$ symmetric teleparallel gravity (Phys. Rev. D 98.4 (2018): 044048). To solve the field equations, we propose the following two hypotheses: (i) The relationship between the directional Hubble parameters, i.e., $H_x = nH_y$ (where $n$ is an arbitrary real number, and $n\neq 0,1$), which is obtained from the proportionality relation between the expansion scalar $\theta$ and the shear scalar $\sigma^2$, i.e., $\theta \propto \sigma^2$. (ii) The relationship between the average Hubble parameter $H$ and the bulk viscous coefficient, i.e., $\zeta = \zeta_0 + \zeta_1 H + \zeta_2 \left(\frac{\dot{H}}{H} +...
