This guidance was first published in July 2020 at the same time as the University of Kent’s Copyright Literacy Strategy. It provides an overview of copyright and its relevance to the University in addition to guidance for specific audiences. The guidance follows the principles set out in the University’s copyright policy and Copyright Literacy Strategy and reflects the user experience (UX) approach to providing guidance. It incorporates insights gained through a range of UX activities, which included card sorting exercises with a number of different communities at the University.
