Wide range of urban issues whether human sources or natural disasters have given rise to a crisis in contemporary cities. This manuscript aims to introduce "smart crisis management ", to academic readers who are not familiar with this approach through the narrative review method and briefly present basic terms and definitions, the most recent paradigm: "digital twins" and finally represent three global best spatial applicants of smart city management in the era of crisis management.
