The aim of this work was to evaluate the performance of the cultivars TMG 4001 and NK 7074 regarding plant populations. The work was carried out TMG Experimental Plant, in Cambé, Paraná. The effects of the different plant populations were evaluated by the following production factors: productivity, number of grains per pods, number of grains per plant, weight of 1000 grains, lodging, plants height and of first pods insertion height. It was used randomized complete blocks design for the treatments and parcels subdivided, in the factorial 2x5 with six replicates.
