Scintillation is a particular type of space weather disturbance that currently limits the accuracy and availability of the Global Navigation Satellite System. The present final master’s thesis aims to study the characteristics of satellite navigation techniques. First, evaluate the impact of scintillation on the frequencies and signals used in space-based navigation systems. For this, the TFM will make use of the Geodetic Detrending technique developed by research group Astronomy and Geomatics of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (gAGE).
