Alvar Aalto had a great influence in Denmark. Due to Aalto's work a new interpretation of modernism arose in Denmark. His influence was of a quite varied character. Danish architects as Jørn Utzon (1918-2008), Jean-Jacques Baruël (1923-2010) or Eva (1916-2006) and Nils Koppel (1914-2009) who had worked in Aalto's office, extended his deep-rooted lessons and his organic approach in Denmark. The presentation aims to provide a comparative research between Aalto's work and his contemporaries in Denmark.Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version
