Cross-border e-commerce refers to the export of finished goods through B2C, B2B2C, and B2B e-commerce channels. This new mode of trade is increasing as new technologies are helping reduce some problems associated with global payments, long shipping times, language, and cultural barriers, and helping customers all over the globe shop online. Nevertheless, there are still some challenges that companies face when performing cross-border e-commerce, and these shall be offset by the company cross-border strategy and its human resources strategy dimension; the roles that a company has within its e-commerce department, will help, and facilitate the digital export endeavours of the company
