Legal protection for children is a right given by the State specifically to children and one of these protections is regarding the protection of the confidentiality of the identity of children who are in conflict with the law, especially children as victims of criminal acts of sexual violence. This writing reviews from article 17 paragraph 2 of law number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection, how the protection should be given by the state to children when they become victims of criminal acts of sexual violence whose identities are published. This study uses a normative juridical approach with the technique of collecting literature study materials.
