PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP IDENTITAS ANAK DALAM TINDAK PIDANA BERDASARKAN UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 11 TAHUN 2012 TENTANG SISTEM PERADILAN PIDANA ANAK (Studi Polres Kota Malang)

Children are given special rights by the state, one of which is the right to protect their identity when the child is in conflict with the law. Based on Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, in which the legalproduct explains how to maintain the confidentiality of the identity of children in conflict with the law. This paper aims to find out and analyze the legal protection of children's identities in criminal acts based on Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Child Criminal Justice System at the Malang City Police. The method used in this paper is sociological juridical with data collection techniques and interviews. The conclusions and suggestions from the author are, the protection that should be carried out by the police who have internal and externalconstraints regarding the confidentiality of children's identities, which should tighten supervision in the field of technology, conduct cyber patrols, pass socialization and education, and provide strict sanctions to the mass media who violate the journalistic code of ethics
