KOMUNIKASI ANTAR PEMELUK AGAMA ISLAM DAN HINDU DALAM MENCIPTAKAN HARMONISASI HUBUNGAN (Studi di Desa Wonocepokoayu, Kecamatan Senduro, Kabupaten Lumajang)

Inter-religious communication is the same as the notion of intercultural communication, namely a process of delivering information or messages where the perpetrators are two or more people who have different beliefs. Intercultural communication that occurs in Wonocepokoayu Village is communication that occurs between Muslims and Hindus. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication between Muslims and Hindus in creating harmonization of relations in Wonocepokoayu Village. This research is a qualitative descriptive study in order to provide clarity on the events studied. Thus, the population in this study is the community of Muslims and Hindus in Wonocepokoayu Village and obtained a sample of 4 people, 2 informants who are Muslim and 2 informants who are Hindus by using purposive sampling method. In collecting data, researchers used in-depth interviews. Based on the results of interviews in this study, there are 3 factors that influence communication between Muslims and Hindus in Wonocepokoayu Village in creating harmonization of relationships, namely by using verbal and non-verbal communication patterns with the aim of strengthening relationships with each other. However, they are also secondary communication patterns, using communication media, one of which is due to the covid-19 pandemic so that communication between religious adherents can still be established even though it is limited by space and time
