PENGARUH KUALITAS PERSAHABATAN TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS DIMODERASI RELIGIUSITAS SANTRI

Psychological well-being is achieved if the individual is able to accept the situation as it is, has a purpose in life, can develop positive relationships with others, is able to control the environment, is independent, and continues to grow. Psychological well-being of santri is influenced by many things, one of which is the interaction that occurs with friends at Islamic boarding schools. The quality of friendship interprets the individuals ability to establish positive relationships with others that affect psychological well-being. The relationship between the quality of friendship and psychological well-being is predicted to be stronger if it is moderated by religiosity among students. This study aims to determine the effect of friendship quality on psychological well-being moderated by religiosity. The research subjects were 467 students aged 18-21 years who lived in Islamic boarding schools. The instruments used in this study were the Friendship Quality Scale (FQS), the Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (RPWBS) and the Indonesian - Psychological Measurement of Islamic Religiousness (I-PMIR). Data analysis using Moderated Regression Analysis method. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the relationship of friendship quality to psychological well-being moderated by religiosity (β = 0,019; ρ = 0,000). The contribution of friendship quality to psychological well-being moderated by religiosity is 34.2%. The findings of this study showed differences in the results of moderation of religiosity on the influence of friendship quality on psychological well-being based on sex, namely in male santri (β = 0,011; ρ = 0,000), and female santriwati (β = 0,007; ρ = 0,436).
