STRATEGI PONDOK PESANTREN AL-MUKMIN NGRUKI MELAWAN STIGMA ISLAM RADIKAL

Al-Mukmin Ngruki Islamic boarding school as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia is represented by the media as a radical Islamic boarding school. The stigma that is formed has indirectly cornered Al-Mukmin Ngruki Islamic boarding school as a boarding school that teaches radicalism. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the strategy of the Al-Mukmin Ngruki Islamic boarding school against the stigma of radical Islam. This study uses a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study amounted to three people consisting of the chairman of the foundation, directors and alumni. This study aims to research and find out about how the strategy of the Al-Mukmin Islamic boarding school against the stigma of radical Islam that addressed to them. There are five strategies for the Al-Mukmin Ngruki Islamic boarding school against the stigma of radical Islam. Namely first, open up. Second, build relationships. Third, use social media. Fourth, educate the community around the lodge. Fifth, the welfare of the community around the lodge
