PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN SANTRI MELALUI PEMBIASAAN SALAT BERJAMAAH DI PANTI ASUHAN KH. MAS MANSYUR KOTA MALANG

The essence of education is the change in the state of students who initially do not understand, do not know, and cannot do, finally can understand, know, and do. For students with vulnerable ages who are classified as children and adolescents, habituation is an effective means of education. As is the case with the congregational prayer habituation program at the Orphanage KH. Mas Mansyur Malang. The habit of praying in congregation with the intention of increasing the disciplined character of students, so that they are more prepared to enter the community. This research was carried out to find the meaning and relevance behind the habituation of congregational prayers and the disciplined character of students. This study focuses on two things, namely: First, How to carry out congregational prayer habituation at the Orphanage KH. Mas Mansyur Malang; Second, the character of discipline that is formed from the habit of praying in congregation. This research was carried out with a qualitative approach, in the type of field research. The results of this study indicate that: First, the congregational prayer begins with the sunnah of the tahajud prayer, the witr prayer, then in five times the obligatory prayers are also carried out in congregation. Second, habituation of congregational prayers at the Orphanage KH. Mas Mansyur Malang is proven to have a positive influence on the disciplined character of students
