STUDI LITERATUR: FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI ASPEK SPIRITUAL PADA PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK YANG MENJALANI HEMODIALISIS

Background: Kidney failure is the inability of the kidneys to get rid of metabolic wastes and carry out its regulatory functions. The condition of patients with this disease continues to decline, so that kidney damage continues. This disease requires therapy to replace kidney function, one of which is hemodialysis. This patient needs a social supports, one of which is spiritual support. There are two factors that affect the spiritual aspect, namely: physiological and psychosocial. The purpose of this research was to determine the physiological and psychosocial factors that affect the spiritual aspect of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis based on a literature review. Methods: The design of this research is a literature review with a sample of 10 journals that are included in the research inclusion criteria. Journals were assessed for quality using the JBI Cross-Sectional Study, Cohort Study and Quasi-Experimental Study instruments. Results: First, physiological factors (comorbidities, functional burden due to illness, sleep quality, better family function, and acceptance of disease) shows a percentage of 22%. Second, psychosocial factors (closeness to God as a party who can be invited to communicate spiritually, religious beliefs as a forum for communicating with God, and spiritual therapy) shows a percentage of 14%. Third, non-physiological and non-psychosocial factors (demography, age at diagnosis, death anxiety, life expectancy, ethnicity, race, duration of dialysis , and the number of children) shows a percentage of 64%. Conclusion: The spirituality of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis was mostly influenced by non-physiological and non-psychosocial factors
