TATA KELOLA PEMERINTAHAN DALAM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI SANITARY LANDFILL DI KOTA MALANG

Waste problem in Indonesia is no longer a new problem. Garbage is one thing that cannot be avoided with an increase in population. An increase in the number of tourists in community activities which means it can increase the amount of waste. The problem of waste management has not been resolved by the Malang City Government. For this reason, proper waste management and government governance are needed in dealing with these problems. This study aims to determine the Governance in Waste Management Based on Sanitary Landfill Technology in Malang City. The method used for this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques with primary data in the form of fieldwork and interviews, as well as observation of secondary data in the form of documentation. There were 3 respondents in this study consisting of Mr. Budi Herianto as PLT Head of UPT Supit Urang, Mr. Adam Taufan as Leacate Treatment Plan Engineer, and Mr. Irfan Diar as TPA Administration Staff. Results Based on the research, it shows that the waste management at Supit Urang TPA using Sanitary Landfill technology has been running using the Sorting Plant and Composting machine units. The inhibiting factor encountered was an incomplete engine unit so that the waste processing process from the composting machine did not run well
