Recently, the spreading of the corona virus diseases (Covid-19) causes the most significant disruption of human history in 2020. Regarding this situation, the classroom activity is adjusted into online teaching and learning. Therefore, it might cause new challenges in teaching and learning process by all the teachers in Indonesia. In addition, the aim of this study is to discover the challenges faced by the teachers in teaching English online during the Covid-19 pandemic and how to lessen them.
