Resources, description and access (RDA) has been positioning itself as the cataloging code for the 21st century, which is why many cataloging entities have gradually chosen to integrate it as a regulation that replaces the previous codes. Learning to use the new guidelines for cataloging implies undertaking a new study of the code, a task that undoubtedly implies leaving the way in which cataloging, documents and, in general, the structure of existing codes were traditionally conceived
