BACKGROUND Developmental dysplasia is challenging to treat with total hip arthroplasty via the direct anterior approach (DAA). Reconstructing the former anatomy while restoring the acetabular bone stock for future revisions in this young patient collective combined with the known advantages of the DAA would be desirable.
