Several toxicity and bioconcentration tests were undertaken to study the effects of nonylphenol,,.-on aquatic organisms, It is desirable to know the relationship between the toxic effects of nonylphenol and 'its accumulation in· aquatic organisms, so that measurements of accumulation in this study can be used to better assess impacts on ecosystems. Therefore, the primary objective of this study was to determine the relationship of the toxicity of nonylphenol to accumulation of this compound by aquatic organisms in laboratory tests
