The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of Work Environment and Job Performance of Librarians in Ahmadu Bello University Library (KIL), Zaria. Survey research design was adopted for this study. The population of the study was 131 librarians from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. A self-structured questionnaire was used to collect data. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The study concluded that work environment is key factor when considering the job performance of librarians in academic library.
