Excerpts from the Preface: This bibliography is a revision of Library List 31, Rice Hulls and Rice Straw, 1907-1944, compiled by Kyle Ward, Jr., and issued in December 1946. Like its predecessor, it is concerned with analyses of the hulls and straw and their utilization in industry and on the farm. Information on rice bran and rice polish has been omitted. Revision has consisted chiefly in bringing the bibliography up to date by citing the literature published during 1945-1955 inclusive. Some references from the earlier period have been added, and a few corrections have been made in the original list.
