HCl vibrational distribution in the dissociation of vinyl chloride activated by flash photolysis of 3-chloro-3-methyldiazirine

HCl vibrational state populations produced in the dissociation of vinyl chloride activated by flash photolysis of 3-chloro-3-methyldiazirine were measured in an oscillator amplifier chemical laser arrangement. HCl populations can be characterized by a linear suprisal plot of slope λυ = −5.5
