As technology continues to develop, more emphasis must be put on innovation within the Irish banking industry in order to prevent the take over of technologically driven challenger banks. The difference between generational adoption of technology may also contribute to the decline of use of traditional institutions as they the younger generations look for sophisticated, convenient, and cheap ways to bank.
