This study looks at employment engagement and what it takes to make employees engaged. The research looks to explore the differences in characteristics of both generation x and generation y and what it takes to make them more engaged. The literature review was carried out to identify some of what makes up employment engagement and how employees react to factors like perceived organizational support and job satisfaction. The study was of a quantifiable nature and involved the self-administering of a survey to many employees in different companies in Ireland.
