This research sought to extend our understanding on the consequences which may impact an organisation as a result of employees experiencing domestic abuse at home. Previous research has touched on this topic slightly which has helped to guide some aspects of this study. Interviews were held with victims of domestic abuse which had were employed at the time the abuse was occurring and the findings suggested that they had been negatively impacted within their professional career as a result to the abuse. These negative consequences included a loss in productivity and focus along with their attendance being affected and even their relationship with their manager had been impacted in some cases.
