The phenomenon of discrimination between men and women has become a culture in Egyptian society. This culture cannot be separated from society, especially rural communities. This study aims to examine the ideological formations and conflicts that occur in the novel al-Ugniyah al-Dāiriyyah by Nawal El-Saadawi that occur in the main characters, Hamida and Hamido. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data source is obtained from the novel al-Ugniyah al-Dāiriyyah by Nawal El-Saadawi.
