Research on activated carbon of coconut shell as an additive to ceramic filter membrane in reducing the concentration of Copper (Cu) in laboratory liquid waste has been carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of activated carbon coconut shell activated using H3PO4 on the ceramic filter mem-brane on membrane porosity and its ability to reduce the concentration of Copper (Cu) in laboratory liquid waste. The filter membrane used is made of clay with the addition of coconut shell activated carbon with various variations, namely 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%.
