Background: People who are presented with severe Peripheral Vascular Disease or Peripheral Arterial Disease, also known as critical limb ischemia experience excruciating pain symptoms, are associated with claudication. This means that, even at rest the pain and weakness in the legs persists. Chronic disease can lead to amputation of the lower limbs which often leads to difficult in physical adaptations and devastating mental health issues.
