People with comorbid conditions are at increased risk of developing severe/fatal coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). We aimed to investigate the relationship between lipid levels and mortality in patients hospitalized for COVID-19 infection. In this retrospective study, we collected the details of 5274 COVID-19 patients who were diagnosed using the polymerase chain reaction and/or computed tomography and were hospitalized between March and November 2020.
