Feasibility study of using with high basicity manganese ore for smelting refined ferromanganese

Modern production of the refined ferromanganese based on the use rich manganese concentrate. But reserve the rich manganese concentrate deficit every year. Therefore, it is necessary to involve the base manganese ores for smelting manganese alloys. The article presents the results of X-ray phase, microstructural, thermal analyses of studies of the high basicity manganese ore “Ushkatyn III” and smelting of refined ferromanganese from it.
