The Cartographic Dictionary was published by the Croatian Cartographic Society and Dominović Publishing last year. More than 40 years have passed since the publication of the first and only Multilingual Cartographic Dictionary in Croatia. In the dictionary, we have attempted to cover many changes which occurred in the world during this period. The present paper describes the circumstances and problems we encountered while preparing the dictionary
